With the Easter holidays in full swing, Waterloo Road actress Tina O'Brien has been finding ways to keep her daughter occupied.
So after visiting cake shops and museums earlier this week, the former Corrie star decided to make the most of the hottest day of the year as she visited the park.
The 26-year-old brought her daughter Scarlett, two and a half, to a local Manchester park, where it wasn't long before the toddler found a new playmate.
Wearing a brown summer dress and sandals, O'Brien was kept busy dashing around the park after her active toddler.
And she looked amused when her little girl presented her with a dandelion as a gift.
On Monday, O'Brien ended up having a bag of groceries from Tesco stolen off Scarlett's pram during a visit to the Museum Of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester.
She tweeted: 'Loving the MOSI until I had my Tescos shopping nicked off the pram handle - strange day!'
Over the weekend, O'Brien was embarrassed by photos of her eating a large chocolate cupcake published in a Sunday newspaper.
She jokingly vowed to 'live on salad from now on' on her Twitter page.
O'Brien split from Scarlett's father, current Corrie star Ryan Thomas, in October 2009 after six years together.
She claimed at the time the couple struggled to cope with the changed dynamic in their relationship after becoming parents, with Thomas' busy social life being an issue.
Last year, she briefly dated Waterloo Road cameraman Nick Cox, 35.
Despite recent rumours her Corrie character Sarah Louise Platt was going to return to the soap, O'Brien insisted she was happy to stay away.
She said: 'Leaving Corrie was the hardest decision I ever made, but it was the right one.
'I'm really glad I've had the opportunity to do different things. I still watch the show occasionally and get sucked in instantly.'
Aside from the new series of Waterloo Road, O'Brien also starred in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
She and her professional partner Jared Murillo were voted out in the fifth week of the last series.
