Playboy star Holly Madison has a ball on the shore in a stylish blue bikini (shame about the blotchy fake tan)

Holly Madison made the most of a few days off from her Las Vegas show by heading straight to the beach in sunny Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old reality TV star was spotted frolicking on the foreshore in a blue bikini, at one point enjoying a game of catch.
But it seems her attempt to look suitably sun-kissed for the outing didn't exactly go according to plan - her elbows and stomach showed signs of blotchy fake tan.
Still, she looked in great spirits as she ran around in the sand and later reclined on a towel to check her iPhone.

Bikini girl: Holly Madison slipped into a bikini for a day of fun in Los Angeles yesterday, but it her fake tan had left her looking a little blotchy
Of course, it has not been a great start to the year for the woman who could once lay claim to being Hugh Hefner's No. 1 girlfriend.
Firstly, there's the little matter of 85-year-old Hefner's impending marriage to Crystal Harris, 24, which must sting considering he repeatedly told Madison that he would never marry again, before she left him in 2008.

Then last month she split from All Time Low guitarist Jack Barakat, the latest in a line of failed romances.
Earlier in the year, however, Madison was dealt an even harsher blow when producers of her burlesque review in Las Vegas, Peep Show, ordered her to lose weight.

Time to relax: The reality TV star checked her iPhone as she soaked up the sun

Madison, who weighs 115 pounds, was told by producers to lose the 15 pounds she gained when she moved from the Playboy Mansion to Sin City.

Bo Peep: Madison shows off her enviable curves to celebrate the Burlesque review's second birthday in Vegas on Monday

The indefatigable blonde told Radar Online at the time: 'I always thought I looked fine. It was a shock to me when they told me to lose weight. I'm still up in the air over what to do.'

'I feel like I changed my eating habits to really healthy; I've lost a few pounds. I'm still getting there and deciding if I even want to lose weight.'

Happily Madison, who has always been proud of her realistic curves, resisted the urge to become a stick insect and still celebrated the second year anniversary of the Vegas extravaganza at the Chi Showroom in Monday.

In her Bo Beep outfit she looked reassuringly voluptuous, and yesterday's bikini poses are further proof that she is yet to compromise that va-va-voom figure.

The 5ft 7in former Playboy model even allowed unretouched bikini pictures of herself to be published in American magazine Life & Style last month.

'I have cellulite - and had it even when I was at my absolute thinnest,' she told the publication. 'I’m never not going to have cellulite.

'People need to just accept that it’s there and maybe dress accordingly or use body makeup to cope with it.'

'I’ve always had a butt, and I want to keep it - cellulite and all. I’m proud of my body.'

But the blonde confessed: ‘Once I realised that other people were noticing that I’d packed on a few, I was embarrassed to go onstage’.

And she admitted that it was easier to stay fit while she was one of Hugh Hefner's kept ladies.

Madison says: ‘I didn’t have a job. There wasn’t much going on, so you tended to focus on the way you looked all the time’.
But she insisted that her love of food remains: 'My favourite type of food in Vegas is the gourmet drunk-food kind: mac ‘n’ cheese, adult tater tots and pigs in a blanket. I just love, love, love food!'
'I'm just making sure I also do pilates and have salad and fruit with all the fun stuff, it's all about moderation but I'm never going to stop enjoying myself, or start worrying about having a butt!'

Is that a Spanx slip under your dress? Nicola Roberts heads to burlesque show in see-through frock

She might have been going to a burlesque show on the West End, but that didn’t mean she had to dress like one of the acts.
Nicola Roberts was snapped leaving the Hurly Burly Show in a sheer black dress with only a nude strapless slip beneath covering her modesty.
Instead of wearing lingerie under the knee-length frock, the Girls Aloud star appeared to be wearing a body contouring slip.

Perhaps the 25-year-old was following in the footsteps of celebrity Spanx fans such as Lily Allen, by wearing one of their compression slips.
The hide and seek nude slip is designed to smooth out bumps and doubles as underwear to accompany sheer dresses.

Nicola, who looked slightly gothic in the dark dress against her porcelain skin, was with her sister Frankie, who wore a bright pink skirt and denim strapless top.
Roberts wore her red hair up in a high pony tail and accompanied her off-the-shoulder crochet dress with strappy black heels and a matching handbag.
The girls started their night off at the Fleming Hotel in Mayfair before heading to the Garrick Theatre to watch the show.

The risqué show, which stars British burlesque star Miss Polly Rae, the founder of the show, has received rave reviews.
The show states that the act: ‘takes audiences on a unique, provocative journey full of wit, joie de vivre, and celebration of the female form.’
Quentin Letts critiqued the show for the Mail last month, saying: ‘The contours are amazing, as are some of the contortions .
‘A dancer’s slow, near-naked splits makes one’s eyes water like lychees. The high kicking seems double-hinged.
‘I have to say that the Hurly Burly Show is artistic rather than lewd. It’s ersatz sleaze.’
Kylie Minogue also attended the Garrick Theatre this month to watch the opening night of the new show, which is directed by her 37-year-old stylist William Baker.
William, who began his career as a fashion designer, made his debut as a theatre director in the 2007 West End revival of Rent.

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger shows off her curves in a tiny red bikini on Spanish engagement holiday... but she still can't raise a smile

She vowed to get in shape before her holiday this summer.
And it seems Lauren Goodger, on a short break in Spain ahead of her planned to trip to Marbella in a few months' time, has stayed true to her word.
The 24-year-old star strolled around the pool at her hotel in a tiny red bikini, making the most of the sunshine and enjoying a cooling dip.

Bikini body: The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Goodger showed off her curves in a red bikini while on a short break in Spain

Lauren has been attempting to stick to the 'no carbs before Marbs' rule advocated in the ITV2 show, and appears to have shed a few pounds with her new exercise and healthy eating regime.

Oiling up: Lauren appeared to be enjoying the sunshine but still couldn't raise a smile
Her bid to lose weight comes after fiancé Mark labelled her 'huge' and most recently a 'big mama' after seeing her on-screen.

Talking recently about her bikini body plan, Lauren said: 'I’m one of those people who loses weight quickly, but puts it on just as quickly. If I train and eat healthily you can notice, and if I drink and eat rubbish you can notice.

'I’m being healthy now and use a personal trainer, Nikki Diamond, who was Scorpio on the TV show Gladiators.
'We do a mix of running and weights, so I feel like I’ve been beaten up the next day! I started training with her in the new year and I’ve really noticed a difference.
'I’m much more toned, and I feel so much more confident in a bikini when I’ve been working out.'
Talking about the healthy eating plan she has been following, Lauren explained: 'I’m not on a diet as such, but I’m eating little and often - things like salads and chicken and smoothies.
'I try to stay away from bread and pasta, and I’ll eat couscous instead of stodgy potatoes.'
And while Lauren now knows what foods she can and can't eat, she knows one of the main reasons she puts on weight - drinking.
She said: 'The day after a night out I crave carbs and eat tons.
'When we were making the show I was often filming late, so even though I’d had dinner I’d be hungry again at one in the morning.

Cooling off: Lauren appears to have lost a few pounds after following an exercise and healthy eating regime
'Thankfully, my tummy stays quite flat but extra weight shows on my arms, face and legs. I’ve got Beyoncé thighs, but Mark says they’re sexy.'

Engagement break: Lauren is believed to be in Spain with fiancé Mark Wright
Lauren is on a celebratory engagement holiday with fiancé Mark in Spain, but is said to be disappointed the Essex promoter didn't choose a more glamorous location for their break.
A source told the Mirror: 'Lauren was upset enough about not going to Dubai because she wanted an exotic engagement holiday.'
Also apparently on the break in Alicante with the newly-engaged pair are Mark's mother Carol, Nanny Pat and his cousin Leah.
There has been a lot of speculation that Lauren and Mark have already filmed their break-up for the season finale of the show next Wednesday night.
But brunette Lauren recently came forward to insist their relationship is entirely genuine.
She said: 'We've got an amazing future and I'm really happy. We've shown everyone for real that it's me he wants. It's true love.
'Mark would never propose just for the show. Now we're back together and people think "poor Lauren", that he's cheated.
'But actually he hasn't. We have great banter and we love all the same things.
'We're just right for each other.'
However, the couple were seen arguing on last night's programme.
And as well as their own relationship issues, Mark and Lauren are also facing disapproval from Mark's family, who believe Lauren is causing a rift with her fiancé and them.
Last night Nanny Pat was seen telling Mark he should visit mother Carol 'at least' once a week, and sister Jessica complained once again that her relationship with Mark is damaged when he is with Lauren.
She told OK! magazine earlier this month: 'I don't think they really work.
'I know there's something there between them and they do love each other and I think that'll go on for a long time.
'But I think it's obvious they don't get on and that's why they constantly argue and constantly split up.'

The words are spotted written on paper in back seat of Kate's car
Kate and William meet Dean of Westminster Abbey for final run-through
William to spend eve of wedding with his family for private dinner
Part of Whitehall near abbey is cleared after bomb scare
We know that Kate Middleton won't promise to 'obey' at Westminster Abbey, but it seems the couple may have written their own vows for the royal wedding.
When Kate was photographed leaving her family home in Bucklebury yesterday there was a sheaf of paper visible in the back seat of the car that included a passage from an unrecognised work.

While many of the words were obscured, it read in part: 'With so much love within our hearts.'

While the passage could be from a separate reading, it opens the possibility that they have followed the example of many young couples and written their own vows for their special day.

Kate and Prince William were back together last night to hold last-minute rehearsals as the final countdown to Friday's Royal Wedding got under way.
Miss Middleton drove from the family home in to Clarence House, where the couple were said to have met the Dean of Westminster Abbey for a run-through of the wedding service.

Contrary to some reports, William and Kate were expected to spend last night together there before Kate moves into the nearby Goring Hotel in Belgravia today.
The couple have lived together at a rented farmhouse on in the island of Anglesey for the last year and friends said they saw no reason to be apart for any longer than necessary.

Especially for you: Kate's marriage vows appear to be revealed on the back seat of her car as she drives to London

In line with tradition, however, Kate will spend her last night as an unmarried woman apart from the groom. Although she was offered the pick of palace apartments in which to stay, family-orientated Kate has opted to stay in the five-star Goring Hotel with her parents, Michael and Carole, sister Pippa and brother James.
A smiling Pippa, 27, and Carole, 56, left the family home shortly after Kate yesterday in a car filled with suit bags and headed straight for the hotel.
At lunchtime Kate’s father also arrived at the Goring in a Ford Transit van carrying the bridal party’s outfits.
A number of suit bags and boxes – some marked with Pippa’s name – were carried inside. One 8ft garment carrier was rumoured to be carrying Kate’s dress. More than 1,800 flowers have been delivered to the hotel, including pink and white hydrangeas and brilliantly-coloured geraniums.
Kate was later seen lugging boxes from the boot of her car and carrying them into Clarence House – a far cry from the treatment she will no doubt receive as Princess William of Wales.
She also excitedly hugged several members of staff as she chatted about her plans for the big day.

Prince William will spend the eve of his wedding having a private dinner at Clarence House with the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry.
The couple then swept into Westminster Abbey for a final wedding rehearsal accompanied by best man Prince Harry, maid of honour Pippa Middleton and Kate's parents Michael and Carole.
Kate apparently 'squealed' with delight when she saw how the medieval building had been transformed.

Final preparations: Kate Middleton arrives at Westminster Abbey this evening for the last rehearsal involving the Royal couple before Friday's wedding

All smiles: Prince William beams happily as he arrives at the Abbey tonight. He was joined by his best man Prince Harry and senior clergy

'She was overwhelmed with how beautiful it looked - it was everything she had hoped for,' said an onlooker.

'Her parents were by her side the whole time, telling her how wonderful it was going to be. She looked like any young bride, excited about her big day.'

The couple arrived at the Abbey from Clarence House just before 7.30pm. Harry travelled with his brother and future sister-in-law, apparently cracking jokes on the way.

The roads around the abbey were already filled with well-wishers and camera crews.

Waiting at the abbey were the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, who is marrying the couple, the Bishop of London, Richard Chartres, who will give the address, and the Dean of Westminster, Dr John Hall, who is conducting the service.

Kate, 29, practised walking up the aisle with her father, who then handed her over to the groom before the couple went through their vows.

Showing no sign of nerves, the 29-year-old bride-to-be, dressed in a demure cream suit, set off from Berkshire at 8.45am -- the last time she will leave home as a single woman -- with only her police protection officer for company.

Two days to go ... Kate's sister Pippa and mother Carole drive away from their family home in Bucklebury

Father of the bride: Kate's dad Michael Middleton leaves The Goring Hotel in London with a little help from what appear to be bodyguards

She greeted her fiancé, 28, at his London residence for the meeting with Dr John Hall, who will conduct the service and be the first to welcome her when she arrives at the abbey with her father on Friday.

The couple are also expected to rehearse their vows at the abbey before the big day.

A royal spokesman said: 'There will be final preparations happening over the last couple of days.'

With less than 48 hours to go, preparations are now at fever pitch, with family, military and security staff making last-minute adjustments.

As hundreds of members of the Armed forces had a dress rehearsal of the drill ahead of the ceremony, Kate's family was also on the move today, heading for the capital - together with all the essentials for her wedding to Prince William.

A suspiciously long dress bag, together with hat boxes and other finery, belonging to the Middleton family were seen moving into the luxury Goring Hotel.

Just around the corner from Buckingham Palace, the five-star establishment will be home to Kate's family and friends, who will decamp there for the wedding.

There's more? Bags and a hat box follow the wardrobe into the hotel
Kate's mother, Carole, and sister Pippa, were seen driving out of their £1million home, seeming in high spirits, smiling at photographers and both dressed in classic navy outfits.
But for Her Majesty the Queen, it was business as usual.

What's this then? The Middleton family wedding wardrobe, including a suspiciously long dress, arrives at the Goring Looking dazzling in bright blue ensemble, and a hat with jaunty red trim, she went to Cambridge for a lunch and reception to mark the 500th Anniversary of St John's College.
Most of rest of the Royal family were keeping under the radar, with Prince Andrew preparing for Friday at Royal Lodge in Windsor with daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice.
The Duchess of Cornwall is believed to be at Clarence House, while her husband, Prince Charles, is up in Scotland. He is opening the newly refurbished Dumfries House for the 2011 season in Ayrshire.
The Princess Royal is set to attend a Joint Services Dinner in London while the Earl of Wessex has a series of engagements in Oxford.

An early morning rehearsal, timed to the minute, saw soldiers, sailors and airmen parade through the streets of London.

With a worldwide audience of billions, military leaders know the eyes of the world will be on them.
A music rehearsal is scheduled to be held today with clergy and broadcasters due to take part in a full dress rehearsal tomorrow at the abbey.
St James's Palace confirmed today that Prince William will spend the eve of his wedding having a private dinner with his family.

The second-in-line to the throne will enjoy his last night as a free man in the company of the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and best man Prince Harry.

By the time the royals sit down around the table on Thursday evening at Clarence House, their official London home, all the preparations should be in place for William's big day.

Those said to be attending include the Duke of York and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Princess Royal and Zara Phillips and her fiancé England rugby star Mike Tindall.

A St James's Palace spokesman said: 'The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will be having a private dinner with Prince William and Prince Harry on Thursday evening at Clarence House.
'As such, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will be able to attend the drinks reception at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, but not the dinner.'

David Cameron sent his best wishes to Prince William and Kate Middleton today, telling MPs the 'whole world' was looking forward to the ceremony.

'People across the country and indeed across the world are getting excited about the events on Friday,' Mr Cameron said.

'I'm sure the whole House will want to join me in sending our best wishes to Prince William and Catherine Middleton ahead of their wedding this Friday and to wish them a long and happy life together.'

However, in a stark reminder of the scale of the security problems faced by the services, a bomb scare saw an area of Whitehall near to the Abbey cleared.

In addition, radical group Muslims against Crusades staged a protest against Prince William.
They held up 'wanted' posters proclaiming the second-in-line to the throne as a 'modern day Nazi'.

However, the extremists who had threatened disruption at the Royal Wedding said today they have agreed to stay away amid fears they could be targeted by attacks.

Muslims Against Crusades announced they have abandoned protest plans as they were heckled by passers-by in an impromptu press conference outside Parliament.

Campaign spokesman Abu Abbas, 22, called on all Muslims to stay away on the big day.

'We believe the main issue is security for our people,' he said.
