But it seems that touring isn't always sweetness and light for the 26-year-old singer.
In the backstage look at her recent sell-out UK tour, the singer reveals some of the downsides of life on the road.

'There are times when we have one minute thirty seconds to change into the next costumes and there is a bar in my quick change that I just hold on to,' she confides to the camera.
'They are ripping s*** off me and I'm like screaming and swearing getting my side caught in my zipper.'
Footage also sees Katy address her audience during one concert, telling them: 'I was dying to get to England.'
She also dedicates a song to her husband British comic actor Russell Brand.

'It's kind of a weird love triangle - my husband, myself and you guys,' she tells the crowd. 'That's all I'm thinking about right now.'
Katy then takes some time out to sign autographs for some of her younger fans and eats candy floss in front of a sweet-themed backdrop.
The concert features some clips of her on stage around the UK where she flirts with the crowd and hands out kisses.

However, although she spends much of her time working hard, she is also seen having fun with her dancers and crew members after the concert.
'Katy has a great balance,' says one of her tour crew. 'She knows when to play and when to work hard.'
Yesterday, Katy was kicking off the Australian leg of her tour.
'Oy... I am so glad I kicked off my OZ tour in Melbourne... you made me feel right at home :)' she wrote on her Twitter account. 'Sweet dreams... And pink ice creams...'
